What are the qualifiers for Elite? Is it fair to say "well, they'd have more yards if they weren't always behind", etc., or do you go with the raw numbers?

The NU hit wasn't even hard (there were two ejections in that game; the one I'm referencing was the one on the sideline where the NU player pulled up and barely touched helmets)

Yep. That call against Ohio State was dumb, but they upheld a call in the PSU vs NU game where replay showed that the helmets barely grazed each other. None of these refs know what this rule is supposed to be

lol yeah. i imagine that's what it was like looking at this board around the 08 playoffs, with fewer terrible meatbally opinions but just as much despair Just watching the expressions of the Nationals fans behind home plate after the 2 run rally, they looked completely shell shocked and defeated. Made me realize that holy crap we used to be like that. And the Nationals have been good for a longer span than we ever were (before the current run), and they've crapped the bed every single year.
