Heck no. Every hitter has it within his power to make teams stop playing the shift. They just don’t do it. If I were manager I’d force everyone to bunt into the shift. Especially rizzo. He gets a more severe shift than most. Opposing teams would be thrilled if our perennial 30 HR 100 RBI player would just drop bunts all game

The more I read about this Crew story, the scummier the owner comes off. He never asked for public funds, he purposely got a clause in the sales contract in 2013 giving him the ability to move to Austin, and as of today, he's refusing refunds to fans who bought 2018 season tickets

Despite logically understanding exactly why the schedule is why it is, I'm still irrationally annoyed that the games in Chicago start LATER than the ones in LA

Columbus is pissed about this (predictably), especially as an original member of MLS. I haven't followed the team too closely, and don't remember much press about ownership asking for a new stadium, especially a "downtown" venue (besides, Mapfre Stadium is within spitting distance of downtown as is, with parking and easy highway access. )
