That sounds like a good way to get fired. Not to worry though, I'm sure umpiring experience is in high demand in corporate America. The umpire union is air tight. No one gets fired
60 Minutes did a thing on the automated strike zone a few months ago and they talked with some recently retired ump (I think, or older current ump) and he basically said umps throw away their game report card after the games that show the calls they missed using Pitch Fx data without even looking at it. If you google 60 min strike zone automation I'm sure you can find the clip. Real Sports did a story on this too. The umps said they get sent a DVD of their good and bad calls and they throw them away without looking at them. And they said that if they were given an ear piece with someone giving them instant PitchFX ball/strike calls, they'd ignore it and call their own game. Umps continue to be awful in ever way
Sorry. I did miss this. It's been added as of the day it was originally requested. You've earned +1 HR since that transaction. Your team total went from 114 to 115. Done and done. This is your first transaction of the first half. You have one remaining. I'll take it
Probably still gets drafted by LA, but damn, I'd pay good, good, good money for this to be LaVar (who is a terrible, terrible parent) on Draft Night: He deserves to be drafted by the Kings
