    this is a tough one. First, I don't have any strong allegiance to either band. Second, I understand the impact of both. Third, I don't know much of either band's catalog beyond their "hits". I have to think on this one for a bit

    Yes. Bleach for the debut album is rather amatuerish. It was in my CD jukebox a couple weeks ago, i hadnt listened to it in years, man its pretty unispriring except for About A Girl. Nevermind is a great album. Incesticide is a cover album that ok. In Utero is overproduced and isnt anything special. Unplugged is great but they are all songs done before except for a few. They have 1 solid album. Now its SOLID, but they have just one. I still lke them more than cream because of this one album. Bleach was recorded for about $200, of course it sounds amateurish. There are only 4 covers on Incesticide. The rest is unreleased recordings.

    I'm 31, thus not old enough to have seen most of the players mentioned here play live. While I'm sure Santo's numbers say he was great, I think there is quite a bit of "This Old Cub" sentimentality for him as well. Prior to his health problems, I don't remember many people putting him up with Banks, Williams, etc. Heck, Santo was probably only the 4th best player on his own team back in '69

    i love the blues. i wouldn't consider any of the bands you listed even remotely similar to my favorite blues performers

    and i'm sure if you could steal gas anonymously on the internet you would to. I doubt you have the balls to go steal a CD from Best Buy what does that even mean it means he's going to justify stealing by saying that he only downloads imports or live stuff or rarities or whatever. First the "I hate the RIAA" excuse then another. Stealing is stealing the part in bold still makes no sense. it means it's easy for him to steal via an anonymous ptp or bit torrent when he would never actually steal from a store. When you shoplift, it's clearly stealing. When it's computer data, it's easy to start naming it other things to ease your conscience
