    i'm pretty impressed by Missouri so far. i had no idea that they ran such a spread offense. A matchup with WVU in the NC game would be like 68-67 at the half

    Tebow is good because this is college football (which is what the Heisman rewards). No NFL team will run that many QB draws, and if he tried on his own, he'd be broken in half by an NFL LB. But since it isn't the "predictor of who will be great in the NFL award", go ahead and give it to Tebow.

    Riders a pretty tough team if they have the same guys as last year. we'll see if PSU can manage to beat UCF in the all-important "7th place game"

    horrible loss by Penn State today (to Rider). this team just cannot shoot. Geary Claxton got his (23 pts, 12 reb) but the team shot just 42% and shot just 11 free throws.

    That I disagree with this statement is a testament to just how bad this deal is. More than twice as much as Pierre's deal. Simply brutal. but Pierre is less than 1/2 the player Hunter is, which is saying a lot

    Ridiculous is being kind. That makes the Soriano deal look good by comparison. Wow. However, it is easy to see why this came out of nowhere. Torii and his agent probably literally jumped on that contract offer. it's still not as bad as the Juan Pierre deal.

    Player A - .271/.324/.469, 104 OPS+, 192 HR, 711 RBI (11 seasons) Player B - .280/.329/.455, 100 OPS+, 164 HR, 623 RBI (9 seasons) One of these guys just got a 5 year, $80M deal from the Angels, while the other was traded to Detroit for Omar Infante.
