    Perhaps a way to entice more people to sign up for Premium would be one forum that is just for Premium users. i've seen many other sites do this effectively. right now, Premium users get more smilies, fewer ads, and an ignore list. while i'm happy to pay the $50/year to help Tim out, it seems that more enticement may be needed to get better membership in Premium

    It's a terrible argument. If he wants to ignore it he can. If you or I find that analysis makes baseball more enjoyable then that is fine also. I hate that argument. No one is holding a gun to his head, or saying that 20-game winners are bad pitchers. i can safely say that 1998 Kevin Tapani was a bad (almost) 20 game winner

    You could argue that this is a case of trying to be anti-East coast bias, in a way, though. The game start times are obviously meant to appease the AZ market and the fans who will be going to the game by giving them what would be a prime-time start over there. If, despite the game being on the west coast, they had set this game for a 7 CT start, it would've, in a sense, been indicative of an eastern (don't want to say east coast, in this case) bias. Games don't normally start at 5 PM over there. who in Arizona are they trying to appease by having the Sunday game be at 10am Arizona time?

    I really don't think MLB cares about a Chicago Marathon. What's more important a yearly marathon or a Cub playoff game. It's going to be insane for people who are driving in the City that day trying to get to the game because of the marathon. People will definitely care. I'm just glad I live close enough I can walk. well, frankly, people are morons if they are driving to either the game or the marathon, so they get what they get

    I agree with you on Stockton. My God, I don't know how this guy keeps getting announcing jobs. He is about as brutal as it gets. Regarding Brenly, he's always been a touted analyst. Fox had him announcing LCS series and I think he also might have announced a World Series or two with the two morons. And yes, I'll say it again. That schedule is awesome. awesome if you aren't guaranteed < 6 hours of sleep by watching

    god i hate that TBS has the opening round. ESPN was so much better, if only because you could have games on ESPN and ESPN2 at the same time and didn't have this BS scheduling

    10pm EDT for both games is SO STUPID. Why are you catering to the west coast viewers you frigging idiots? More people will watch the Cubs and Red Sox than any other teams. THOSE games need to be in prime time. TBS IS FULL OF FAIL
