  1. plus he K's over 100 times a year, so he's perfect for us
  2. in the tradition of nicknaming our players things like A-Ram, C-Patt and D-Lee, would he be K-Fuk?* * pronounced "fook" you heathens
  3. how is KC a finalist when they have no interest in him?
  4. only if he brings back the jesus look
  5. i bet Milwaukee was wishing they were an AL team again about now. between Fielder and Braun....
  6. i am 0% excited about this PSU vs. aTm matchup.
  7. Exactly. 22000+ posts, somewhere in there had to be a bit of padding. what does that make Raisin?
  8. no, those days are long behind me. but what golrious days they were
  9. rotoworld post-padder strikes again!
  10. i don't know if i like Figgins' "Comparable Batter through Age 29" better of Bip Roberts or Kevin Seitzer
  11. the best thing about that thread is that the one guy who brings up relevant stats is completely thrown to the wolves
  12. this game would be more fun if you could reorder it before adding your own
  13. the funny thing is the Wang would be the #5 starter on the Red Sox, but will ace up the Yankees
  14. we've been clamoring for Lofton since the trade deadline
  15. i sited OPS+, not EqA (which I don't have ready access to, admittedly). Last season was off the charts as far as playing above his career numbers.
  16. Figgins is almost exactly average. 99 career OPS+
  17. O RLY? Santana Beckett Matsuzaka Schilling Buckholz/Wakefield/Tavarez
  18. It's a good start! I'm sure USC is also playing ND....is OSU playing any other BCS team? You might want to check other thread's for OSU's past schedules; they always play at least one BCS team, and it's usually a good one. Florida also plays FSU every year, and I believe they play Hawaii next year. And USC plays ND every year. It'll be in LA next year. Florida plays Miami, Hawaii and Florida State next year. Didn't know they played Miami again. That's certainly not ducking people, regardless of how strong those programs are. Especially when coupled with an SEC schedule. There are many culprits in weak scheduling. But OSU, USC and Florida are not among them. it wasn't ducking people when they scheduled them, but they're catching Miami and FSU in down years. If we're going to penalize OSU for Washington, we'll have to do the same with Florida if those two programs go 7-5
  19. Cubs don't have one prospect that's as good as any of those six
  20. Notre Dame will ALWAYS get an at-large BCS bid when the qualify. ALWAYS I never understood the whole Notre Dame thing. Years ago I dated a gal who went to Notre Dame, all her brother and sisters did, both her parents, most of her cousins, aunts, uncles etc also attended and graduated. Her parents had a nice house and over the fireplace (with three spotlights on it) was not a family potrait and nice painting: it was a giant photograph of her dad shaking hands with Lou Holtz at some booster club dinner. I think she dated me just to tick her parents off: I was a heathen Illini student. the first class you take as a freshman at Notre Dame is "Entitlement 101"
  21. Jeepers...every coach is using another school to get an extension and more cash. except JoePa
  22. Notre Dame will ALWAYS get an at-large BCS bid when the qualify. ALWAYS
