San Diego 1B?

all I see in both the main and printer friendly version is a field of white. so i guess there are no prospects this year in the NL Central

a "facelift" isn't going to cut it. I think they need to gut it all the way down to the clubhouses and start over. as vance said, almost every seat in the lower level that's under the roof has brutal sight lines, and not just because of the poles. they are going to want modern luxury suites, etc., etc. there is no way to put a bandaid on this baby

Fresman PG Talor Battle had 28 points and 13 boards for PSU last night. was also like 10 of 13 from the floor. 6 conference wins isn't bad for a team that lost it's best player after 2 conference games. If Claxton hadn't been hurt, I think PSU could have gone at least 8-8 in conference if not 9-7

first off, Soldier Field was a dump. A dump that had been changed 3 or 4 times before the spacecraft landed on it, so it's not like some 100 year old relic that had never been touched prior to the 21st century. secondly, look at some photos of ballparks from the early 20th century. they more advertisement signage than most minor league parks do

pretty much, it's "oriole park at camden yards"... but camden yards is a neighborhood in baltimore. calling it sears park at wrigley field just seems completely redundant, basically it's just naming the ballpark twice. sorta like Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, eh?

Coors and Miller Park are not the same, as they have their product/logos emblazoned on every square inch of the place. Wrigley Field doesn't have a shred of corporate advertising anywhere outside of the name on the marquee, which isn't even the company logo

whatever "positive PR" a company could receive by buying the rights but keeping the name would be far exceeded by slapping their company's name on the park. let's say Old Style (for sake of argument) buys the rights. Initially, everyone will think it's an amazing move for them to keep the Wrigley Field name. But 2 or 3 years into the naming rights deal, people will forget, or not care, at which point Old Style is paying for a whole lot of nothing. No company would ever do what you guys are suggesting
