Mark Prior has thrown over 200 innings since Carlos Zambrano's last shutout. Mark Prior has thrown ZERO innings since Rich Hill's last shutout. guh? Yes, Rich Hill threw a 9 inning, CG SHO in 2006, a year where he was averaging 5 2/3 IP per start. Blind Squirrel, meet nut. Scott Eyre throwing a complete game shutout would be a blind squirrel finding a nut. Hill is a very good starting pitcher who has as good a chance as almost anybody, and definitely any Cubs pitcher, to throw a complete game SO. sure he's a good pitcher, but he's also a typical Cubs pitcher; racks up high pitch counts early and gets yanked by the 7th. i'm not discrediting his stuff
