  1. my guess is that every one on that list will want a ML contract
  2. i've never seen ads since the conversion to 3.0
  3. http://www.clicksmilies.com/s1106/waffen/violent-smiley-019.gif
  4. i still think BAL owes us for Freddie Bynum and Mike Fontenot.
  5. Mitt Romney, the Chicago White Sox of the 2008 Presidential Race
  6. Very grudgingly, I'd vote McCain. I'm less than excited by him, but he'd still be marginally better than the Dems. I prefer Romney, but I can't say I'm a big fan of his either. Republicans should have gone for Fred Thompson. Of course, he didn't help his case by not getting his name out there better. I'm pretty sure Fred Thompson and myself agreed on zero issues. Maybe even like negative 3 issues. I agreed with him on many issues. Not all, but the vast majority. I'm hoping either Romney or McCain choose him as VP (which is possible for McCain since he'll need to grab the conservative vote). i will never support any candidate who is either anti-gay rights and/or anti-women's choice.
  7. guy on CNN last night showed that someone can "win the state", say, 55% to 45%, but end up with less delegates. He said you have to look at each of the 51 districts individually. That being the case (plus the fact that CA is on the west coast) i have a feeling that the true results won't be in until early morning Wednesday
  8. With all the great teams Joe has had, he's never developed a really good QB. kerry collins was a very good college and was okay in the nfl. but not a really good nfl quarterback, obviously. he was a good college QB his senior year (not so much his junior) and was a solid but not spectacular QB in the pros. He helped Carolina get a decent record early in their existence and went to the SB with the Giants
  9. With all the great teams Joe has had, he's never developed a really good QB. it's because to him, the function of a QB is to hand the ball off, manage the clock, etc. the cliche is that the game has passed him by, but when you watch him every game every year (and read the local papers), it's totally true. the only reason the 2005 team opened the offense up with Michael Robinson is because the playcalling was "taken away" from Paterno that year. I guarantee that the next head coach at PSU (assuming it isn't Jay) will make big changes to the offensive philosophy
  10. yes, but Penn State is notorious at not coaching QB's well. they've sent, what, two starting QB's to the NFL in the last 20+ years? (Collins/Blackledge)
  11. i know he just retired, but how about Craig Biggio?
  12. okay, let's see: NL East ------- ATL (Wrigley) NYM (Wrigley) FLA (Wrigley) MON (Wrigley...don't think I've seen the Nats) PHI (Wrigley, Veterans) NL Central ---------- CHC (Wrigley, PNC, Miller) MIL (Wrigley, Miller, Mil. County) CIN (Wrigley) HOU (Wrigley) STL (Wrigley) PIT (Wrigley, PNC) NL West -------- ARZ (Wrigley) COL (Wrigley) LAD (Wrigley.....saw them hit 7 HR off Anthony Young) SDP (Wrigley, Opening Day in like 1994) SFG (Wrigley) AL East ------- BOS (Fenway, Spring Training) NYY (Yankee) TOR (Cell, Spring Training, Fenway) BAL (Milwaukee County) TB (Jacob's Field) AL Central ---------- CHW (Cell) CLE (Jake) DET (Cell) KC (Wrigley) MIN (Not sure on this one) AL West -------- LAA (Cell, Milwaukee County) TEX (Cell) SEA (Also Not Sure) OAK (Cell) So that's just 2 teams that I can't remember if i've seen them or not.
  13. i don't understand it enough to predict, actually. i know California has a billion delegates, but how do they get split up...by county?
  14. the Pirates best case scenario is barely better than the Cubs worst case :rotfl:
  15. how can OMC not include Clemens?
  16. It was a very poor draft pick. Off topic, but hell this whole thread is. Where does your user name come from? Google + 3 seconds of your life = LINK
  17. Penn State has a miserable recruiting class, currently #40 on Rivals, with 0 5-star recruits, 5 4-star recruits (4 LB's and a RB, so basically 5 of the same guy), plus a bunch of 3 and 2-star linemen
  18. there is a high school in central PA that our school used to play called the Millionaires
  19. Milestone Post and Movie Threads in Social are both significantly longer
  20. i just don't know actually. i went to Brewers games at Milwaukee County Stadium when I was 7....god knows i don't remember who they played
  21. Every feature that has ever been in Premium is present now. The only difference is that I'm now able to do it within a single set of web pages instead of having to have separate links for everything. so can you clarify what the current and future differences between regular and premium are/will be? Current: Premium users see no ads at the top of the page or while viewing topics. Future: non-Premium users will get no additional features beyond what is present today Premium users will get additional board modifications as they become available and stable. Here are a couple that I'm currently looking at: Quick reply option AJAX based chat box on index page There will be many others that will be added as I find them and test them. If you want to hold off until said features are available, I'll understand. If you want to support the site (and avoid the ads), I'd appreciate any support you are willing to give. i'm already signed on, just curious

  23. He definitely couldn't have been confused. As he walked out to shake Coughlin's hand, Mike Carey stood in front of him - stopping him - and told him the game wasn't over yet. At that point, Belichick either said screw you to Carey or just ignored him. Either way it shows a lack of class. There's no excuse for the Pats to not show a little respect (for the first time ever) and stay on the field for one more second. i was half way hoping that only 2 Patriots would be on the field for the final snap and that the Giants would score another TD I disagree and see Mizzou's point. He obvioulsy thought the gmae was over, and by the time he made it all the way across the field, why turn around? just shake the mans hand let the game be over. He had to cross over his sidelines anyway. What's the trouble to stop there for a second and show a little respect to the team that gave you a great game once and cleanly beat you on the second try? Sure it hurts to lose the game, but 41 other teams have lost the Super Bowl and shown a little respect. No reason for Belichick to think he's better than them.

  25. Raisin is approaching being the first Inner-Circle HOF member. So much for pretending there isn't an inner-circle. he will also reach Legend of the Game status before a second person makes Inner-Circle
