  1. Lee is #3 in hits coming into the game. When? WHEN?
  2. did I miss all the games where Lee racked up enough hits to be in the NL Top 10?
  3. Come on, did he jump up and down, do a throat slash, flap his arms like a rooster, and mess his pants? close. he jumped, gave a primal yell, squatted, clenched his fists.....let's not be complete homers about this. I'm on record saying I don't care that either act like they do, but let's not pretend that the Cubs don't do it The difference is that Marmol does it after he just got himself out of a potentially game-saving jam, and Valverde does it after getting 3 straight outs with his team up 2 or 3 runs. and he's not a Cub. don't forget that part Rationalization it is, but the next time a Cub pitcher goes nuts after a meaningless strikeout, I'll be sure to call him out just for you. I wouldn't call a strikeout that ends the game and gives the team the win meaningless, regardless of the lead, but whatever, you think what you want
  4. Len: "Franklin shaking off Johnson" LOLOLOLOLOL

  7. MARMOL JUST DID WHAT VALVERDE DOES! EVERYONE OSTRACIZE MARMOL NOW!
  8. I thought he was playing
  9. maybe the Chicago beat reporters should stop asking Ozzie about the Cubs. oh, wait, then they wouldn't get awesome sound bites and get you guys all riled up
  10. I don't care if they play to an empty stadium, these games need to happen
  11. anyone have video of that collision? i missed it live
  12. it looks nice on opening day
  13. That's not always the case. I'm pretty overweight. I have a large gut, but no ass. My dad is the same way. I think the "no ass" gene is genetic. Then she needs to stop being photographed from the waist down. http://www.imyspacegraphics.com/images/40-year-old-virgin/8.jpg
  14. I think the default to this question is "yes"
  15. can we PLEASE win the next game 15-1 or something?
  16. the only time I ever rooted for OSU was when they played UMiami in the NC game, and the only time I rooted for Michigan was last year against Florida (re: Meph)
  17. i'm pretty sure all those ladies (plus their extended friends, family and acquaintances) were at the water park this past Saturday. The water displacement in the wave pool must have been record-breaking
  18. nothing cures a "tight" team like having your best hitter bunt because you don't have the confidence that the team can score.

  20. i love that the bunt immediately spawned: - a thread bump of the "Lou what are you doing" thread - a poll - a rant
  21. let's see if Lou can get out of his own way here and let the team take the lead
  22. i read somewhere that his floor is higher than Theriot's ceiling thats odd because we've already seen his floor, and it was the 2006 Experience and it was worse than anything theriot has ever done eh, it was some website where everyone panics everytime the Cubs lose. It has a B or two in it or something
