sitting the starters for 8 games is a horrible idea. Rest one, maybe two per day, but otherwise, keep them sharp.

it may be the B-team in there today, but don't expect the starters to take the rest of the regular season off

doesn't look like the Top 25 will move too much. Auburn will drop out of the Top 10, ECU will drop into the 20's, and FSU and WVU will drop out of the poll. I wouldn't be surprised to see BYU jump South Florida, but otherwise, teams in the mid-teens will only gain a spot or two. Vanderbilt will crack the top 25

if the Ohio State game was at home, I think Penn State would have a good shot at winning. They still might. Sorta glad to see E. Carolina lose; they clearly aren't a top 15 team in the country.

that San Fran park is built for Fielder I also think the Sabathia trade is something the Brewers would, in hindsight, absolutely do again. The team was in a great position to make a run at the division and Sabathia has been pretty outstanding.

Ohio and Troy would destroy the teams PSU has played so far. But yeah, OSU is looking pretty pathetic this year. It's awesome. Northwestern is handling Ohio much better than OSU did

PSU came out sleepy but put up a 31 spot in the 2nd quarter. Still not sure what to think of this team. On the one hand, they've played 4 straight patsies. On the other, they are obliterating these teams (unlike OSU struggling with OU and Troy, for example). The defense is really good, and the offense has enough moving parts to keep opposing defenses on their toes. What remains to be seen is how the offense will do against a bonafide defense.

if the Brewers lose and their game finishes before the Cubs game, then techinically the Cubs will not clinch on the field. So, yeah, that's me justifying the fact that I'm stuck with the Brewers game on Fox. Hopefully there's a good CFB game on this afternoon
