    Forget just Benson, how about A-Train, Enis and Salaam before him. Better vision, good burst. As raw said, Forte doesn't need a hole, he needs a seam. probably helps that he wasn't a training camp hold out like those guys were Probably, but he still had a run longer than any Benson had in 3 years. You can blame rookie seasons on training camp holdouts...but not subsequent seasons. true, but it's never good to start your career holding out and missing camp.

    Yea cheap shotting with helmets has a tendency to knock people out of the game for a play or 2. I'm almost positive I saw Briggs and Mike Brown have similar plays. They hit hard, but didn't lead with there helmuts. whoever cleaned Addai's clock lead with the helmet, didn't they? Yup Retaliation. oh, well then it's fine then

    anyone else think they should do an early/late game EVERY Monday night? It's great for those of us out east who don't want to stay up till past midnight to watch football, and it gives the west-coasters a game that doesn't start at dinner time

    I wasn't trying to be exact - PSU doesn't play ND with the frequency of MSU, Purdue, and UM. But they've played a major program on the road recently, that's the point. I don't know if PSU is playing other major programs in the near future, I don't keep up on the future schedules of teams other than ND. since someone asked, PSU has a home and home with Syracuse (08/09), Alabama (10/11) and Virginia (12/13) scheduled right now other than that, it's the same pathetic OOC for the near future (Temple, E. Illinois and E. Michigan next year, Youngstown St., Kent St. and Temple in 2010)

    I got every game right but the ECU/WVU game this week, and I only had 1 point on that one

    Agreed. But we've really needed him the last few weeks and he has come through. I still don't think, all other arms being healthy, that he should make the playoff roster. But his contribution is definitely appreciated. if it's down to Marquis and Howry, Marquis should make the playoff roster
