I wouldn't rule out the possibility of 7 or more Big Ten teams in the tourney if they keep beating each other up, and IU gets beat up. There could be 8 teams in the league with .500 or better records, and if the conference champ ends up with 5 losses (as has happened before), nobody other than IU is really out of contention for a tourney spot yet (PSU and Iowa were closest going into conference, but PSU is now 2-1 already in conference...Iowa is 1-1 with a close game at OSU). Would not surprise me in the least to see MSU, Purdue, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, PSU or Northwestern in the tourney. I Think Northwestern will fall off even more, but besides that that looks about right I know the two wins are against Northwestern and a depleted Purdue team, but do people still think Penn State will only go 5-13 in conference? If so, you haven't watched them at all.

what you just said is pretty much the exact opposite of every NFL scouting report on Tebow If I'm understanding you correctly you're saying that NFL scouts are saying Tebow has a quick release, is accurate, but lacks arm strength. No, I doubt that's what scouts are saying at all. so not the exact opposite, but he really doesn't have good arm strength

unfortunately there's still plenty of time for psu to blow it. they don't draw that well normally, and with most of the students not back and in the midst of an ice storm, i'm not surprised that attendance is really bad. ah, didn't realize school hadn't started yet. that would explain it.

haha yeah right. usually i do really well during the regular season and then crash and burn in the bowls. this is the first year in like the last 5 that most of the bowls went the way i thought they would. i think the bowls are usually pretty unpredictable because teams are off for a month and momentum (coming into the game) means just about nothing. but Meph has a system! A SYSTEM!

Pohlad was pushing hard for the contraction of his own team in the season just before their recent string of success (reportedly to take the cash buy out and go home). I can't imagine my team owner doing something like that.

If payroll is really "frozen", they simply don't have the $$$ for that kind of signing
