  2. It never ceases to amaze me how many picks the Patriots have every year
  3. I hope not. I'm not a big fan of smaller receivers. I'm curious where the PSU receiving corps end up. Williams, Butler and Norwood are all available, but none are terribly big. Williams and Butler are likely to start out as returners, while Norwood might be a good 3rd and short receiver (he has incredible hands). We'll see
  4. Anyone think a guy like Derrick Williams will end up a Bear today?
  5. It's going to be sunny and 82 degrees here today. Wasting my time watching the Bulls and Cubs lose doesn't seem like a great option compared to being outside.
  6. Five Guys are just big, juicy, greasy burgers. Also, unlimited topping for free
  7. The Raiders taking a WR makes sense since they'll inevitably be signing Michael Vick when he's out of jail
  8. Well, aside from all of the NFL fans who can't afford a trip to Europe to see their team play (in a city that has zero connection to the NFL whatsoever). If you can afford Super Bowl tickets, you can afford a flight to London. Doesn't matter, it's an utterly stupid idea. I don't think you're going to see some huge fan base created in England by holding the game there, and you're going to piss off a lot of your current base by doing so. I hope Goodell denying the idea (for London or Mexico City) are sincere.

  10. Well a pitcher does require a lot of body parts working in motion in order to throw 95 miles an hour with pinpoint control. If one piece isn't working, it can mess up everything else. same goes for a quarterback, but they play hurt. They also get pulverized by 280 lb. monsters every Sunday.
  11. pretty much have to bounce it in the dirt to get a ball low
  12. It really is amazing how fragile baseball players seem to be, especially for a non-contact sport. Football players are out there with casts on their arms and 18 braces on every joint and destroying eachother every week, but baseball players tweak an ankle and they just can't play.
  13. The Bears are paying Cutler just over 1 million in salary this year. Orton is going to make 995,000 this year. So, really, in the Orton-Cutler exchange, the Bears are out about 10k. Wow. That's pretty nice to have that little invested in such a good QB. Just means he's one good season away from demanding a new contract
  14. Never did get that badnews Top 10 list.
  15. was the first pitch (that Lee took) as big of a meatball as GameCast showed?
  16. New rule: No one is allowed to steal ever
  17. I'm calling it right now: Cubs won't score another run all season. We're doomed. DOOMED
  18. my wife was only casually watching, but she noticed that KG was dropping bombs EVERY time they showed him
  19. I'm getting MLBOWNED on this one: I'm in Cincy's broadcast area, so the CSN feed is blacked out, but the Reds are only broadcasting on the radio today, so no game for me. THANKS BUD
  20. Five Guys, hands down
