  1. Jim Mora as head coach and Greg Knapp as your OC. The seahawks will be down for awhile
  2. #54 on rivals and #44 on scout. Headliner is a 4 star RB from Durham.
  3. Miles Plumlee as a significant contributor, yet Elliot Williams, Lance Thomas, and Greg Paulus range from role players to limited roles? I guess I understand Williams since it doesnt include defense?
  4. 0-2!!!! Let's go! Thank you Wake
  5. Go Wake Forest. It would be sweet for Carolina to start out 0-2 in the ACC
  6. yay tyler hansbrough hate. the only four athletes I cannot stand at this point are tyler hansbrough, tim tebow, jake delhomme, and brett favre. There is no way Hansbrough wins player of the year, this year.
  7. I hate Jake Delhomme, so I am loving this.
  8. Yea, the lowest point total for Duke all season in the first half had been 29. It had been 17 for FSU. First time in shot clock era that a team lead at halftime with only one player (Gerald Henderson) making a field goal? Henderson looked really good for the first time all season and got a career high of 25 points. Greg Paulus only played 6 minutes all game and isn't particularly hurt. It's disappointing as Smith sat out for 11 minutes, so Scheyer was effectively the backup point guard. I don't like Paulus' benching because he can shoot so well that we'll need him at some point this season, but I am glad Smith, Scheyer, and Henderson are all playing great defense. Elliot Williams is the best perimeter defender I have seen at Duke in a long time, but he has absolutely no offensive game.
  9. See I think he'll fail, but Redick is a dick and is complaining about playing time by the way. I don't think Tebow will do well in the pros, but he's a nice guy so I'd feel worse for him than JJ Redick failing....But I understand your take on it What makes you think Tim Tebow is a nice guy? He comes from the Jay Cutler, Philip Rivers, Jake Delhomme school of completely bitchy quarterbacks, only without the requisite ability to throw footballs. Tim Tebow is a complete douchebag.
  10. That was a nice game for Duke. We got up by 25 against Davidson in the second half and held on to win by 10ish. The computer rankings like us, too.
  11. Go whoever's playing Duke!!!!!!!! I keed, I keed. But yeah, I hope Duke loses. I can't believe we are about to be ranked #2 and ahead of Carolina. (Hopefully)
  12. LETS GOOOOOO!!!! please dont lose tonight now, duke.
  13. damnit damnit damnit
  14. Im picking Indy and Atlanta on the road and Miami and Minnesota on the road.
  15. Using a different model, the Cubs could score 5.513 runs a game. That comes out to 888 runs or about a 3 win difference, right?
  16. Hmmm, so I took the production out of every position using baseball reference. I plugged in the OBP and SLG into Baseball Musings Lineup Analysis. We scored 855 runs last season. The optimal lineup had us score 5.4 runs a game. I multiplied that by 161 (we missed a game last season). We would have scored 870 runs last season with the optimal lineup. That is significant, no?
  17. The wind was blowing like 50 mph.
  18.
  19. The Falcons just went 11-5 and made the playoffs.  Hopefully we can beat Arizona and move on the the second round. I heard a rumor that the Falcons are pretty interested in Albert Haynesworth. If we made that move, drafted another OL and recieving TE, we would be very dangerous next year.
  20. if we are just getting jason hirsh, we better not have to pay a dime.
  21. his glove is included in that value.
