    Cowher wants to stay close to home, I think, which really would limit his options. Of the jobs that may open soon, Carolina would be by far at the top of his list, but Nashville might be close enough for him to listen to an offer. He won't go just anywhere, though, I don't think. I seem to remember that the story was that he wanted to stay at home to be with his family while his daughter was in high school. She graduated last spring, though..

    Notre Dame does automatically qualify if they are in the top 8. They can be taken if they have 9 wins and a top-14 spot, too.

    and people would be pissed, especially considering a 12-0 TCU would likely have a higher BCS ranking than a 10-2 ND, but we'll see. Oh, I won't deny that.

    I don't disagree with your points on the Bears defense, but Atlanta has smaller cornerbacks and we have more trouble with big wide receivers than fast wide receivers.
