I guess their [expletive] teams are better than most league's [expletive] teams, but their middle of the road teams, at least a couple of whom are going to get into the tournament, are no better than the 9th or 10th best Big East teams or the 6th best Big Ten teams that aren't going to get in IMO. Eh. Pomeroy has Florida State at 18, Virginia Tech at 28, Georgia Tech at 29, and Wake Forest at 41. Meanwhile, Minnesota is at 35, UConn is at 45, Notre Dame at 47, Illinois at 56, Seton Hall at 57, Cincinnati at 70, and South Florida at 74. Sagarin (combo of elo_chess and predictor) has Florida State at 24, Virginia Tech at 30, Wake Forest at 36, and Georgia Tech at 40. Meanwhile, Notre Dame is at 44, Seton Hall at 48, UConn at 50, Minnesota at 56, Cincinnati at 58, Illinois at 60, and South Florida at 63. Minnesota is the only one ahead of any of the ACC bubble teams in either one and only by six spots in one of the two, while lagging pretty far behind in the other. Minnesota does have a 25 rating in the predictor, but only 71 in elo_chess.
