    Thats more of an indictment on the Royals... not really jeff keppinger sucks. give him time he will hit back to his level of suck. I have to disagree. I've seen too much of him this year. He doens't suck. AAA: .368/.424/.469 Cincy: .337/.398/.484 This is the first time he has ever been given a shot, and he's producing. I think he is a AAAA player who gets to bat in hitter paradise. .371//.440/.505 on the road.

    Harang tomorrow and Z on three days rest will be a joy tomorrow as well. We better figure out a way to win this game. I'm in the minority I assume, but I think Z will have a decent outing. I think his sinker will stay down more, and low in the zone on short rest. Especially after his last start gave him a little extra rest.

    Guys, Jones was coming all out and it would have been a great catch. It sucks, but it was a clean hit.

    Delivery and mechanics were clearly thrown off. The trainer also came out for a visit. I believe Ping thought something was wrong with Hill's leg and delivery. I'm inclined to defer to his judgment on this matter. It was a concern because he puts a lot of pressure on his back knee with his over-exaggerated drop in his delvery. You can really see it from the side view, first base camera.

    Shrug, I don't mind the bunting comments. You do come off as over-the-top Rich Hill basher just as much as those you criticize who are over-the-top Jason Marquis bashers (or Zambrano bashers in April and August). If Hill my favorite Cub? No. Do I ever say things about Hill that are even comparable to those said from time to time about Floyd, Jones, Kendall, Marquis, etc? Not even close.

    Who cares? I'm not paying it. Its about performance. I don't "hate" Hill, but you can't fall behind on the pitcher to start the inning and give up a hit and expect to have an easy inning with the top of the order coming up.

    All this Astro hate is hilarious. Forget them, they are throwing 3 rooks this series and the Brewers lucked out by missing Oswalt. The Cubs missed Oswalt a couple of times this year too. It all evens out. If the Cubs win every series the rest of the way they take this easily.

    Not that worried about them, the Cubs control this thing. I truly believe a 7-5 minimun over the next 12 takes this thing. I just really want to make it out of this series with the lead. Will be tough facing probably the best of the Reds staff, while the Brewers are facing 3 nobodies. True, I just like that the Cubs have the lead, as opposed to relying on another team to lose.
