I agree, but I see no reason for Murton to be a part of it. I think a Murton/Hoff platoon would be wonderful. I'd bet that platoon could put up numbers comparable to Soriano. seriously?

Nothing good will come from pouting about this. For once, the Cubs have enough depth and other productive players that they should be able to weather this. Makes the summer more interesting. Things were just going too smoothly. :wink:

This is thinking really far ahead and making a lot of assumptions, but hey, I don't care... the Cubs should pray that wild card comes out of the Central. If it does, they'll play the NL West champion, which is sure to be weaker than the wild card winner. Yes, I know that's thinking way too far ahead. That's what we though last year, but I really don't want to face Arizona again in a short series. Yeah, the thought of Webb and Haren possibly 4 times isn't very good. Long way to go though. Its June.

k thnx idiot Give me a break. People were jumping with joy around here when the Pujols news broke. That's an exaggeration at best. I think the most excited reactions came from those that don't want Cardinals' fans to have an excuse that they didn't win the division, which is hardly jumping for joy. I just think its ridiculous to post something like that when within the past 24 hours there have been plenty of posts about how great it was for Pujols to get hurt.

I know the Cardinals are playing extremely well, but the Cubs have been so good I don't really care. Also, I can't get too worked up about the standings in June. The Cubs will be fine if they just keep it up.

A little late again, but, also approaching a .360 career OBP...I don't understand how he has managed to perform this well, but I'll take it. Yet there are still quite a few that think Cedeno is getting screwed.
