  1. Were the doofuses in the student section chanting "Harris sucks?" God, IU is loathsome. "Sit down Izzo" was awful. Don't they realize he's the best in the business and was 100% correct in his whining to the officials? Some bad calls in that one, per usual in the Big Ten. Students acting like students and yelling? My god, hope the Big10 doesn't declare IU in eligible or anything. Kids are idiots most of the time, everywhere. You guys are really talking about this?
  2. Oladipo with another huge effort. As I've said before, he's gone after this year. Not bad for a non top-100 guy.
  3. I don't think Oladipo is coming back. He's not likely to have a year as good as this one, and he will have graduated.
  4. If Yogi Ferrell can be a threat with his shot that would be huge for IU. So far so good tonight.
  5. Are you really just trying to make sure Meyers Leonard doesn't shed any more tears?
  6. Bo Knows. IU is going to regret this one. Hulls' NBA chances took a big hit tonight.
  7. Battle for first place Tuesday night in Bloomington.
  8. Yeah, Crean thinks everyone is wonderful. Uses a lot of "coach-speak" talk. Ignore him.
  9. I guess you never know what you get with Illinois. Can look so good, and so bad, depending on the game. Wisconsin is also still the most annoying team in the conference.
  10. I saw him throw Mbakwe to the ground. Mbakwe got called for traveling. Yep. Total turning point in the game. Like I said, IU won this game in the first half and basically came out in the 2nd half and stopped attacking. Played stupid in the 2nd half but were able to just quite hang on.
  11. Did you watch much of the game? Mbakwe was relatively quiet and Minnesota scored a lot from the perimeter. It's not like Zeller was killing people and the refs just weren't calling it. There wasn't much action under the rim. I know you have to find a reason to discount IU, so go ahead. Looking at how IU played in the 2nd half should be good enough for you to pick apart. They came out basically trying to protect the lead, and it showed. Is Illinois going to score today?
  12. It's because Minnesota has been pressing and gambling the whole second half. It's led to many good things for Minnesota, but also led to lots of fouls. Indiana shot 4 free throws in the first half. Yeah yeah always a reason Except that its true.
  13. Thought it would be, ha!
  14. Whose scholarship will he be taking? 2014. Moderately pleased with the start of this game \:D/
  15. Hour long pregame for IU/Minnesota, has Big10 network done this before? Hope Dante Exum likes what he sees today. Official visit all the way from Australia.
  16. IU/Minnesota line opens at IU -7.5. Seem high?
  17. That is the only way to really do it right. IU has tried a few "stripe-outs" and they never work.
  18. I'm fine with the Blackhawks, my only mention of Nashville and Columbus was because those are the two teams I could watch the most of. I appreciate the input you guys are supplying, and I don't want to hijack your thread. If there is anything else to add I'd be glad to read it, but don't want to divert attention for the purpose of this thread. Thanks. This will be a big decision, hah.
  19. I am completely open minded about this. Just thought it might be better to pick a team I could actually watch regularly.
  20. Ridiculous question for you all... Have decided I am going to follow Hockey this season. I have enjoyed watching it, but have never really considered myself a fan. I want to change that and try to learn the game better. I need to adopt a team though. That is where I need some help. Locally I can catch games on TV from two teams, Columbus and Nashville. I know Columbus sucks, and that Nashville is pretty good. Should I go with a local team that I can see on TV more often? If not, where should I look?
  21. It's no problem, I've enjoyed the read. Won't get an argument from me about Big10 officials.
  22. Man, and the IU fans were bitched at in here for making a few posts about Hollowell...ha! Carry on gentlemen.
  23. They don't really have another option, they are making the best of what they have. Not going to be a team that gets to the line much.
  24. Illinois is going to have an extremely tough time in the Big 10 if the refs let teams play this physical (read "foul constantly") against them. True, but when your offense is predicated on taking outside shots combined with no real inside threat, you reduce your chances of drawing fouls.
