No, not even a little. Wood, Feldman, Maholm, Villanueva and Gregg HAVE to give you faith they can find under the radar, cheap yet effective pitching options. Volstad, Baker, Fujikawa, Camp and Corpas have told me they are pretty capable of whiffing, too. As said countless times prior, I don't really think Volstad is a fair comparison. That was a junk for junk deal. Baker hasn't pitched an inning, so in theory that can be looked at as a failure. Signing guys off of TJ is always a gamble. Lets see what happens when he comes back. Camp was really good last year. It obviously has not carried over. Corpas?? Really? What a tremendous failure and setback that signing was. I'm with you, these guys are human, not some super engineered executives. I think you are going a bit out of your way to be negative on some of these examples though.
