  1. I think this has been known for about a month or two but still horrible none the less.
  2. I really hate authoritative fallacies.
  3. I love having Brees as my fantasy QB.
  4. Minnesota? What's that?
  5. Put in Stanzi!!!!
  6. I'm gonna hate when Tebow ends the Packers undefeated season in the Super Bowl.
  7. I want UCLA to lose today and then win the Pac-12 so they go to the Rose Bowl as a 7-6 team that finish 4th (I think that's right) in the conference record wise.
  8. It's weird that a lot of teams play so different on the road then at home. It's the same players, a 100 yard field and all plays and what not should be the same. I get that the fans are against you and you're in an unfamiliar city but it's still football and it doesn't seem like things like that should make that big of a difference.
  9. C'mon, he made you guys bowl eligible. I think if it's best if he sticks around to continue what he is building.
  10. Some people like to go out of their way to make sure you know they don't like the NBA like it should effect my enthusiasm. [expletive] them.
  11. YES!!!!! I thought a shortened schedule would bother me but the fact is we know who the best teams are after 66 games and most teams stop trying at that point (until the playoffs obviously) anyways
  12. Maybe. Virginia and Notre Dame wins tomorrow would complicate things. Oklahoma State will likely be a little better than Alabama in the computers to end the season, so if they find a way to get up to #3 or #4 in the polls after this weekend and have an impressive performance against Oklahoma, that might be enough to convince enough pollsters. If Va Tech and Stanford both win out, I'd say it's almost impossible for Oklahoma State to do enough. I was thinking that but the point was made during halftime that Oklahoma State was dropped only to 4 after their loss. I think the voters are setting up to move Oklahoma State to two if they beat Oklahoma. The voters have Oklahoma State at 6. It's only the fact that they're 2nd in computer rankings that they are 4th in the BCS rankings. They'll either have to be 2nd or a close 3rd in the polls to get to 2nd in the BCS rankings, and that means that they will have to jump Alabama, Va Tech, and Stanford in the polls. That would be an awfully big jump to have them jump 3 teams just to manipulate the BCS. My mistake, I must have misheard them. It must be their SOS that has them that high then. I was thinking the voters set it up so there would be no rematch and that they thought Oklahoma State was the team that was most deserving.

  14. agreed His ranting about the Packers is awesome. Come to think of it, UMFan's are pretty exciting too.
  15. I'm glad Iowa's getting shut out by Nebraska's shitty defense.
  16. Love that excuse. He had two hours to sit and think about it and that's what he came up with? He'd gain favor if he would just say that he lost his cool and messed up. Instead he sounds like an idiot.
  17. if you get calls like that and the PI where the receiver wasn't obstructed whatsoever going against you, it's just not humanly possible to beat Aaron Rodgers Missing field goals, having holding penalties in your opponents territory and throwing interceptions inside your own 20 doesn't help either.
  18. Iowa just got beat by 16 by the Campbell Fighting Camels. My hopes of finishing somewhere near the middle of the Big Ten are gone now. I wish I had better basketball to watch in which I had a rooting interest.
  19. Yeah, I'm concerned about the well-being of Rodgers in this one. Your front four destroyed our offensive line the last time we met and we're without Clifton on Thursday. That said, the interior of our line is better than it was in that game, but Sitton's going to have to find a way to control Suh. Meanwhile, besides Matthews (and Bishop whenever he's sent free), we can't generate any consistent pressure on the QB at all. Should be entertaining, but I forsee a loss either on Thursday or against the Giants the following week. A team that can generate pressure with a four man front is really the only way to slow Rodgers down right now and both of those teams can do that. I agree with everything here but both the Chargers and the Vikings threw out strong pass rushes against us and while Rodgers took his lumps he adjusted and still shredded those defenses. The level he's at right now, I don't know if anyone can slow him down. Plus I'll take our chances against anyone indoors.
  20. I'm glad that my post about Wisconsin is being quoted at the top of that thread. Turns out it was too early.
  21. I don't feel like our season was robbed from us, as I recognize just how lucky we were with injuries last year. Not that this has any effect on injuries suffered this year, but it doesn't feel as unfair due to how fortunate we were last year. This is the king of all injuries, dude. Explain to me why this never happens to a Packer QB? Don Majkowski got injured.

Not that this has any effect on injuries suffered this year, but it doesn't feel as unfair due to how fortunate we were last year. I think the Bears will be fine. They have had the defense and special teams carry them before (they seem to thrive off of stuff like this) and considering the competition they have in front of them it's not like wins aren't possible. I think your team's major concern should be if he is ok for the playoffs or not. It is hard to imagine them making a deep run with Hanie as the QB.
  23. I would really love it if Iowa takes down Nebraska in Lincoln.
  24. Bring back Todd Collins.
  25. I was hoping Hester was going to swat it.
