I would imagine there are scenarios where it would be more valuable, trade wise, to prevent the guy from playing as opposed to playing him. It's possible that you could try to sell a guy like Johnson but they could know you are full of [expletive] because they've seen him play. On the other hand, you could sell a guy like Butler, who hasn't played as much, and you may get the other team to buy into it a little. I mean, there are a lot of dumb NBA executives.
