That's got to be the case. I didn't think they really deserved to go with a win.

I think Hawkeyecub is just trying to get a rise out of you. Anyways, I just want Iowa to return to Tom Davis levels of success which is pretty much be a tourny team more often than not and maybe every once in a while compete for a conference championship, something that is possible in a few years with some good recruits as Iowa has really never had anything higher than a 3 star and should have won the conference in 05-06. I'm excited that Iowa basketball has a chance to mean something again.

That's what I love about Iowa fans. Give them an inch of success and they get cocky/mouthy as hell. Growing up amidst that is what has made me hate Iowa so. Well Iowa fans are the only fans of any team that do this.

I feel like Wisconsin is a team that everyone thinks they match up with because they play so slow and it looks so ugly. Then they beat you.

I'm annoyed that the year I move away from Iowa they have some good prospects there that I would really want to watch. At least you don't have to live in Iowa anymore. I liked Iowa better than Indiana.

This is the first game I've ever watched where that happened. Iowa did against Drake the year Drake was ranked. I know because I was there.

That press conference they showed of Weber made me feel kind of bad for him. He looked like he was going to kill himself.

That's a tough break for a senior on a team that is going to the tournament when they've been bad for his entire career.

When losing I want to get a good shot as quickly as possible so if it doesn't go in there is a chance. Tie game you take the last shot with as little time remaining as possible.

Yeah, he had two others where the other team had some time to get a shot off. This is the first one that left no time for an answer. If you count buzzer beaters for the tie he had the buzzer beater off balance 3 to send the game to OT against the Rockets last year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_V-zqQ8Zio8 I still watch that from time to time.

They've had trouble closing out games all my life. I'd be nervous right now if they were up 15. Fixed.

Illinois is willing themselves to stay within striking distance of the the higher seed Hawkeyes in order pull off the upset. Duh.

You guys haven't attacked at all and earlier Leonard was dominating so much that Iowa couldn't really foul him. Haha it's because they're gassed. Not that they don't care. I mean it's possible the entire dove for that ball out of apathy.

Illinois was doing whatever they wanted when they slowed tempo and then got in inside to Leonard. They'll come back if they do that again.

I know Illinois fans don't really care that much but this is a good game. Also, I think Cartwright stepped out on that Basabe dunk but I'll take it.
