Don't bother me with details. Get him. Well, it be great if it was possible. With him they probably only lose a couple more games the rest of the year.

I don't know if I like this argument....the Pacers could easily say "We challenged Chicago in every game of the series last year without David West on the team. I'm not scared of the Bulls" Bottom line is, we shut them down, down the stretch, something that good teams do, which is exactly what Miami did to us. If the Bulls and Heat didn't have the exact same finish for 4 straight games, I might be willing to consider that we were right there with Miami and just had bad luck. But its pretty clear that they found a way to shut us down when the game was on the line, and until we win one in that situation, people will continue to believe that Miami is better. I don't think they are. They beat us in OT and after a fluke comeback. One play pretty much goes are way we win those games. People seem to think that Miami is light years ahead of everyone and I just don't see it. I see no reason that the Bulls can't beat them even if Rip is hurt. I could see a rematch not even taking place though this year. When Boston and New York are the 7th and 8th seeds it's going to be a tough road in the playoffs for anyone.

How realistic is Allen? I have a hard time seeing that one happening too.

Someone on RealGM was saying that Bulls were talking about trading for Ben Gordon. I don't think it would happen at all but I think I would like that.

We challenged Miami in every game of the series last year with Keith Bogans as our starting SG. I'm not scared.

James was on a 10 day contract. If we picked him up, his contract would be guaranteed for the rest of the season. Lucas's contract is already guaranteed for the rest of the season, and I'm sure Jerry doesn't want to get any closer to that luxury tax. Yep. I understand all of that, and even mentioned a week or two ago that I figured it would happen this way. I was just hoping that the the Bulls would make the decision based on talent instead of money. I know it's only the third string PG position, but I thought James was quite a bit better than Lucas. I, too, thought James was better but hopefully everyone stays healthy and then third string point guard won't really matter.

I don't think I've seen any Iowa fan think this. I'm kind of expecting a blowout in Illinois favor but we'll see.

If they win this one they could win out. Even if they do though they have 4 bad losses that has to keep them out. I'm just enjoying this for what it is.
