Well, how much playing time is he due to get this season because that would have a part in how much the D-Backs ask in return for him. I don't know what his defense is like at shortstop but he could be an interesting option. -
I figured as much, but they don't sem shy about taking offers for Cain and Lowry.

:?: That's a Cubs tie in with Scott McClain who was nicknamed "Die Hard" as he single handedly proved that ST is not a good way to judge talent. Ah, gotcha. I remember him. He was the MVP of the PCL a couple years ago I think.

My list: C- Crash Davis in Bull Durham 1B- Lou Collins in Litle Big League 2B and SS- The guys from Rookie of they Year, Angels in the Outfield and Bull Durham for a tie 3B- Roger Dorn in Major League OF- Roy Hobbs in the Natural OF- Willie Mays Hays in Major League OF- Mitchell from Angels in the Outfield SP- Chet Steadman in Rookie of the Year SP- Billy Chapel in For Love of the Game RP- The Duke in Major League RP- Henry Rowengartner in Rookie of the Year Man, that is not a great list. Most of those guys are players past their prime getting one more chance (Hobbs, Chapel, Steadman, Collins) and Davis is an old career minor leaguer.

What I was getting at in my two trade posts was not that I was contradicting myself, but showing that Hendry is neither terrible, nor great. For every good move he makes, there's a bad one and vice versa. He's an average GM who should do better with a high payroll and crappy division.
