No, I suspect they had Johnson targeted from day one. He's fast and he's incredibly redundant...that's exactly what Reinfeldt likes apparently. And what he likes is stupid. Apparantly a glaring need isn't glaring at all in the eyes of the front office.

Honestly, it was very obvious they were going to royally blow that one. LenDale White and Chris Henry are probably our best playmakers - WHY TAKE ONE AT THE SAME POSITION AS YOUR BEST PLAYMAKERS? How in the sweet world does that help your offense more than taking a player at a POSITION OF NEED? this was a horrible, horrible pick with all those receivers still there. I can't even say anything. I'm so dumbstruck by the pick. I wish I could say i'm surprised by the stupidity but i'm not.

I think the Titans should look to trade down for anyone interested in Mendenhall. Not crazy about Devin Thomas - moreso than James Hardy, Limas Sweed, etc. I just want a WR. I'd prefer Thomas, Hardy, Jackson, and Sweed in that order, but want one of them.
