We need a second baseman and consistency in the bullpen. A-Ram coming back helps, but I think something still needs to be done. Unfortunately, the pending sale leaves our hands tied basically.
I wonder what Jose Macias is doing http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/team.cgi?id=41150 Dude's got 56 RBI, which means he's hitting well. Sign him up.
Knowing the Marlins, something along the lines of Marshall, Soto, Marmol, Vitters, Carpenter, Jackson, and Cashner ought to get that deal done. Don't forget Jim Hendry's dignity, or did he send that in the Steve Trachsel deal as well?
Am I the only one who wasn't aware we had John-Ford Griffin? I remember when he was a top prospect for the Yankees/Jays. But back to the thread. Yeah, it would be a dream for someone to take Miles off our hands but at this point we'd either have to take a bad salary in return or a mediocre minor leaguer.
I prefer Joshua helping out the AAA club, but it's nice to see him get a chance. Still, I don't think Perry was that much at fault. We just have a bad offense.
