  1. Yeah, that was really odd. Didn't think we'd see him in another uni. Gotta be a bit of a shock too, being told to head to the other locker room in what was your home stadium for 10+ years.
  2. Blindsided? He's been on the block for over a month. This was his 2nd choice. Just 3-4 days ago a trade with The Dodgers was supposedly near completion. How much less blindsided could he have possibly been? I'm just guessing it's not fun to hear you're gonna be traded from Twitter or reporters before your own bosses tell you, regardless of other circumstances. I can't imagine he'd reject the trade though solely because of that. He still wanted to play in Atlanta.
  3. Holy [expletive]. Hah, yeah, I'm still around. Sometimes. It's the rare slow day at work with not many of the boss-people here. Probably because it's a road game. Don't work there anymore. WHAT ELSE HAVEN'T YOU TOLD US?!
  4. This needs to happen this afternoon. The anticipation is killer. Eovaldi would be a sweet return, if we make the deal with the Dodgers. What could be a reasonable return from Atlanta? Minor or Delgado?
  5. Classic change-of-scenery trade. Guthrie actually has a 3.67 ERA away from Coors this season.
  6. Such a bad organization. One of my friends was a Marlins fan...he gave up on the team after this offseason and seeing that home run monstrosity and became a Phillies (just as lol) fan.
  7. He was a decent third baseman before this season. If he keeps raking, it's a steal.
  8. Total speculation. He's a nice player, but not one you target and he's redundant on a team that has DeJesus, Campana and throw-in wonder Reed Johnson.
  9. Apparently we'd have interest in taking back another David DeJesus in a Garza deal with Sox. I presume this is just baseless speculation. http://bostonherald.com/sports/baseball/red_sox/view.bg?&articleid=1061144624
  10. It's his first taste of the minors, but still slightly disappointing. Not worried yet though.
  11. One of those guys who serves as roster filler for half the teams in the league and then has one big moment.
  12. Guys, this is actually a thing that could happen.
  13. All I'm saying is Casey Coleman and Blake DeWitt are so valuable they're invaluable. Teams should be glad we're willing to include them as throw-ins. Reed is one of the league leaders in WAG (wins above grit). FACT.
  14. Yeah that was pretty good. Hoping this is a minor setback (though nothing is minor with him).
  15. OMG i swear if you post one more time about trying to entice teams with reed johnson garbage or whatever i'm going to burn down the internet. But he's so darn gritty, that has to count for two players.
  16. is he bringing his mustache? and his motorcycle?
  17. Yeah I wouldn't trade him. He's cheap enough and productive and we wouldn't obtain much in a trade anyway.
  18. Man I wish we could convince them to take Soriano.
  19. Wasn't sure whether or not to start a new thread for this. Seems like things are heating up. Colleti would actually trade Zach Lee and Garret Gould for Jed Lowrie. Theo/Jed better get on the phone fast because Ned has a super case of the crazies today.
