    aren't you implying women are weak? seems insulting to me. if I said, Drew had to sit again because he's an Adam, wouldn't that seem insulting? no, because i'd assume you were joking around...like i was. So sexist jokes should be ok? What about racist ones? I'm only semi-serious here but I do think you should consider what stereotypes you are propagating with that kind of "humor." I'm guessing you wouldn't make a similar joke implying latinos are weak. How is it different with women? if i'm going to be cast as a misogynist for jokingly referring to a player by a girl's name or calling him a [expletive] (something i'm sure no one here has ever done), i can obviously refrain from it. i didn't know i had to be so PC here. frankly, i think it's quite a reach to say that what i said was insulting to women. it's not like i said women were stupid or beating them was cool, but whatever. but please don't turn what i said into some BS slippery slope about how what i said was comparable to saying racist stuff. that's ridiculous. sorry if anyone was offended.

    If I remember correctly, he has never been very good off the bench. At this point he may almost be better off playing every day in AAA until (hopefully) Jones is gone. or just bury jones' sorry ass on the bench where it belongs.

    One bad pitch to a guy who has owned him... He's battled with location lately but he hasn't really been roughed up. The Cubs have been in all of his starts. he looked horrible last time out against the brewers. It wasn't his best game but he didn't give up the runs Lilly surrendered. 2 runs in 5 1/3 IP and some leaky defense that ran up his pitch count. His pitch location has been problematic right. and he had baserunners all over the place. i'm not gonna argue with you about it any longer...i thought he looked like crap regardless of how many runs he gave up.

    Yeah, either eject Hudson right there, or give the Cubs some leeway to retaliate. That or tell Lilly to plunk Andruw Jones tomorrow for good measure. yeah, the cubs need to be first out of the gate with beanings tomorrow. marquis sucks.

    what a bunch of garbage this warning crap is...soriano owns the braves last night, so hudson plunks him for no reason. now the cubs can't retaliate. why are the braves allowed to hit him for no reason and the cubs can't fight back?

    ya lol, im sure hes ready those high school pitchers are all u need to be ready for the pros, vitters is gonna be really damn good tho, from what i have read today he is projected to be a .290-.310 hitter with 35-40 homer power i read he is projected to be jesus.

    my team is really beating the [expletive] out of the ball lately...15 homers last week, and 10 this week to go with a .328 average.

    i think the cubs drafted vitters b/c ramirez got hurt and they knew he was going to be out this weekend. expect a quick sign and call-up.
