    so long as he starts against milwaukee, who cares? but now i don't think he is starting against milwaukee. i think he was supposed to start wednesday, but now he's starting this weekend. milwaukee is going up against three scrubs in the houston series, i believe.

    while it was certainly nice to win 3 of 4, i personally thought the cubs looked terrible this weekend. maybe not the worst they've looked all year, but not much better than that. luckily for them, st louis is one of the worst teams in the league right now.

    are people seriously bitching about bringing in wuertz and now ohman? it's the 3rd/4th inning of the second game of a double header. sorry they can't roll out goose gossage, mariano rivera or billy wagner. geez.

    seriously Lou, whats the point? who do you want in the game? anyone. Piggy?? Wood?? Woof pitched game 1. Everyone else not named Marmol or Howry isn't that good anyway... my point is why is Wuertz here..I understand the whole take on for the team, but jesus find someone in AAA or AA you keep saying that, but you're not throwing out any names. "someone in AAA or AA" isn't cutting it.

    it's pretty amazing that this game is tied. the cubs have played terribly stupid baseball. marshall out. stupid youngster can't even get four outs an inning.

    placed glaus on the DL, as he is supposed to be out for the season. i don't know if he's officially on the DL, so if that's a problem, let me know. also, guthrie's out for the season too, so i could put him on the DL instead if that works better. or i could drop guthrie. in any event, i'm pissed i dropped escobar.
