  1. yeah, figures the one pitcher you have that sucks is zambrano. i hate baseball sometimes. letting zambrano bat in the sixth was idiotic. geez, maddux went from -4 to 19 in about two seconds. [expletive] you, andruw jones. could have really hurt raw with a wagner blown save. but hey, you're second gidp of the game works fine too. biggest bust in fantasy baseball.
  2. nice baserunning, dumbass. dodgers want harang to get that complete game shutout.
  3. and i can live with zambrano, and even harang, pitching well...but when the [expletive] did el duque become an ace? he's been horrible for at least a few years, right?
  4. well, [expletive]. good thing maddux is off to a bad start since HBC's three other starters have given up a whopping zero runs. wang and guthrie giving gallardo a run for his money.
  5. It wasn't, but none you you guys are really that funny. Little wonder this site is considered the home of teens, by many including those in the media and at the team. yeah, i heard lee and ramirez were talking trash about nsbb the other day.
  6. should cub fans really be mocking the brewers?
  7. i'm a big fan.
  8. I wouldn't spoil a Ruth autograph like that (not that I don't like Aaron). But I guess Boomer is rich enough that he can have a Ruth ball that is just Ruth, etc. still...ruth balls are surprisingly common for how long ago he played. the ruth/aaron/bonds ball is truly one of a kind, and i'd have to guess that it would be one of the most valuable signed balls on earth.
  9. the nationals didn't congratulate him around the bases like the cubs did to mcgwire.
  10. i read an article somewhere that david wells bought a ball signed by ruth, got it signed by aaron, and had bonds sign it last week. that'd be a pretty cool piece to have.
  11. that homerun knocked that pitcher's eyebrows clean off!
  12. that was a brutal pile up. i would want nothing to do with that.
  13. hey juan, did you get my pm?
  14. well, why didn't you say so? i guess it's ok that the cubs' offense sucks then.
  15. can he finally get some PT over cliff floyd's lukewarm corpse?
  16. for crying out loud, just hit a popfly to leftfield. even this team has 315 foot power.
  17. the '04 team had a passable offense.
  18. well, he hasn't even driven in a run yet, if that means anything.
  19. these are two laughably bad offenses. 7/9ths of the astro's lineup is terrible. if the cubs were in a real division, they'd be five games under .500.
  20. What exactly is this in response to? people that are saying that hill (or whoever) tries to strike guys out. and in doing so, nibbles at the corners.
  21. tejada's not good enough to screw the opponent of any team he plays for next year, let alone five years from now.
  22. people on this board have remarkable insight as to the inner workings of rich hill's mind.
  23. Stop trying to strike out every batter. so hill should stop having such a good curve ball, and zambrano should stop having so much movement on his pitches? those guys can't help it that they're high k pitchers (not that they should want to change it)...high k guys are going to get a lot of foul balls.
  24. nice offense you've put together, hendry. i can't wait til you're fired.
