    He's looked better then any of our starters lately. Not Rich Hill. But yeah Trachsel isn't getting hit hard, he's been pretty unlucky. Pierre, Penny, and Furcal smoked the ball Just cause Furcal didn't bloop the ball in there didn't mean they smoked the ball. I know but they were all hard hit balls 2 of them were ground balls, Penny's as gameday put it was a soft line drive. They weren't infield singles, but they weren't what I'd call smoked either. they were all hit hard. Regardless, he hasn't pitched that bad. At least he pitched 6 innings and kept us into the game. he was lucky to only give up three, but he did better than i thought he would. If he was Rich Hill you'd call it a masterpiece. why do you have to be a dick about it? i said he pitched fine. screw off.

    are you saying zambrano isn't a "head case" or whatever you want to call it? talking about rich hill's mental instability was stupid because there was no evidence that he was mentally weak...he was just pitching poorly. zambrano has gotten ejected from games, punched his teammate, shown up his teammates on the field, broken bats over his knee, defied coaching, made gestures to the fans, and completely fallen apart on the mound over the past month when the pressure has been at its highest. saying that zambrano is a head case isn't being an amateur psychologist...it's pretty clear that's what he is.

Catching a ball might be the same, but when it comes to getting a read on a ball it's completely different. Add the sun at Wrigley, plus wind, and you're talking about 2 different positions. Have you ever played baseball? we're getting all the classics today.

    kendall is out for a game or 2 to heal his hand which was swollen from the hbp yesterday. z sucks again because he's mental. Z just needs K. Hill catching him again. He dominated with Hill playing. Look at the stats. if signing z means five years of koyie hill on the roster, i don't think i want zambrano.
