it's only a roller coaster because you're following it minute by minute for some insane reason. if you just, like, checked it at the end of the day or something your life would probably be less stressful.

they had the same conference records. iowa finished much stronger. iowa beat penn state, northwestern lost to freaking indiana. this isn't some outrageous injustice here.

who cares? it's not like they jumped northwestern for a shot at the nat'l title. iowa will presumably play better than nw in the outback bowl and bring more fans. that's how it goes.

...and the fact that MSU and Northwestern both beat Iowa? iowa travels very well and is red hot. i think they would beat northwestern by two td's if they played right now. they'd possibly beat osu.

i kind of want mizzou to win so texas will be forced to defend why they get to go to the nat'l championship over texas tech when they have the same number of losses and tech won head to head...the same scenario texas has been bitching about all week with respect to ou.

please, please, please tell us that you were joking around here. Sarchasm. Funny comparison though...if Soriano had a little more discipline at the plate, his ceiling probably is near what Rickey's career looked like. Leadoff hitter with good power and speed. He wouldn't rack up the SB numbers because no one plays the game that way anymore, but if he walked enough to maintain a .400 OBP, he'd be a pretty similar player. that's a terrible comparison. henderson stole a ton more bases, played very good defense and hit for a fraction of the power soriano does. they really have nothing in common. at all. -
