seems pretty clear to me. oh, so now you're a strict constructionist? how convenient. listen, the rule is about as clear as it can get. the ben sheets situation is completely different for reasons we've talked about a thousand times. if every time i bring something up, everybody's going to throw ben [expletive] sheets in my face, then i guess everyone is allowed to break the rules when they play me because i'm a cheater that has ben sheets on the DL so who am i to ask others to abide by the rules. i don't really care. i'm going to lose this week anyway. but if that's not the rule, then take down the freaking rule post because it apparently doesn't apply. tim agreed with me. there's no reason to have a monday roster deadline if it flat out doesn't apply to pitchers or position players. if that's not the rule, then change it.

hey, i'm unbanned. shane has two active/healthy guys (dice-k and romero) on his DL.

Maybe Samardzija to the rotation, Hart to the bullpen...or whoever. then they should have kept samardzija in AAA so he could start. this whole thing is dumb because a) the cubs may need samardzija to become a starter at moment's notice, and if he's throwing 13 pitches every three days, that's not going to work and b) vizcaino wasn't doing anything wrong and the bullpen didn't need samardzija.

i don't want to hear about the cubs' financial hardships when they've already pissed away $7 mil on gaudin and vizcaino and it's not even may yet.
