Well, since you were trying to work a trade with him, it's kind of duplicitous for you to be criticizing making a trade at this point. As for the prospects I got back, Bob would have had to drop them because of roster space anyway, so they just came back to me as filler, essentially. I'll most likely end up dropping them in the future. High ceiling guys, but both have numbers that tell you they're not likely to make it. Miller may be 20 and in A ball, but he's got crazy good stuff and incredible results to match so far. He'll be in AA to end the year. I may get the 1st round pick back, but that doesn't make it meaningless for truffle. He now has two first round picks, a decent exempt pitcher and two of the current top 10-15 prospects in the game. You are full of criticisms - why don't you let us all know what your offer was so that we can judge if yours was "fair"? not really any of your business. and he approached me about the trade/made the offer, not the other way around. i never made an offer...he made me an offer, i said yes, he said he'd get back to me, then he traded with you. guess you should have made a better offer, then. I DIDN'T MAKE AN OFFER. he did. i said yes. then he traded with you. which he is certainly entitled to do. what was my response to his offer supposed to be? "no, i reject your offer, i will give you more than that."
