Instead of taking long 2s (the worst shot in basketball), he is taking 3s. While shooting the 3 is a better shot, it is harder to make. Therefore, his FG% goes down, but he's scoring more points per shot. I'm okay with this. Give him another offseason, and he will improve. His release is very inconsistent and with the determination to get better that Rose has, there's no doubt in my mind he's going to improve. If he actually gets a real 2 guard, his efficiency will go up too. And as someone stated earlier, I guarantee Rose shoots more last second half court shots than anyone in the league. It probably doesn't make that much of a difference, but a little bit.
