  1. I wish there was a reputable place to buy rally tickets from on the secondary market. But unfortunately they don't look to be available on stubhub and anything else you buy will probably be fake. If anyone here (who is a reputable poster) bought tickets but would rather have some cash and wants to sell me 4 PM me. I promise to not judge you for selling me free tickets. Actually may only need 3.
  2. Well that is true. They are row 6 of the 300 level behind the goal the Hawks shoot at twice. For game 4 similar seats were going for $800 on stubhub. I did pay $345 a piece(face value) on ticketmaster during the Hull presale so the profit margin at least for game 4 was double. I'm sure game 6 will be much more than that. Looks like the cheapest actual seat is about $900, and that's row 17. I'm guessing you can get at least $1200 or so. How do the Hull and Mikita packages work? Is it just like regular season tickets (ie you can renew your seats every year, there's a wait list for them, etc)? I got on the waitlist in early 2009 for season tickets so I bought a Hull package back then(9 games) and renew it every year. There is a huge waitlist now too for the Hull package. I am allowed to buy 1 playoff game(2tix) per round on the presale but have to pay regular tickemaster prices. Yeah I figured. A couple of my friends went in on season tickets around 06 or 07 and I didn't have the money then, being in undergrad. Probably for the best. The wife already likes to conveniently bring up my Bulls and Cubs season tickets when it suits her argument.

  4. How much are your tickets going for? If they're good ones you can always sell them and then use a portion of the profit to buy SRO.
  5. What is Noah's trade value at this point? He only has one year left on his deal and there's a chance he could come back healthier and better after an offseason of rest. And perhaps our new coach will use his appropriately as a backup center. I think I'd rather keep him and let him expire and sign someone worthwhile when the cap explodes in a year.
  6. You really think somebody else is going to be better than LeBron before he hangs it up? Yes. In about 1.5 seasons he will have played more minutes (regular and playoffs) than Michael Jordan. In about 3 seasons he will have played as many minutes as Kobe if he never plays another minute. He will slow down at some point...in fact he already has. He can still put up peak LeBron performances, but not at the rate he has in the past. If you look at his advanced stats in the playoffs his numbers are lower than they have been in pretty much his entire career. This. LeBron is obviously tremendously skilled, but his best asset has been being bigger, stronger, faster, and more athletic than everyone else. Give it 2-3 more years and that won't be the case. Hes already started to come back down to only insane human-level. Unless LeBron reinvents himself a la MJ adding the fade away, he will no longer be the best player in the world a few seasons from now. He could gain 20 pounds, move to power forward, and put up 20 & 10 seasons into his late 30's. And he's going to be better at doing that than AD in his prime?
  7. Davis's numbers blew away LeBron's this season. LeBron had his worst season since his rookie year. The numbers aren't even really all that close.
  8. You really think somebody else is going to be better than LeBron before he hangs it up? I think Anthony Davis already is. You think wrong. He certainly was this year.

  10. Why is LeBron not going to get worse until he retires?
  11. Or Butler hits that 3 or the Bulls grab that rebound and the outcome is different. This has nothing to do with LeBron feeling like taking a game by the horns or whatever the [expletive] and has everything to do with the Cavs pulling out two close games. Exactly this.
  12. The problem is that Noah is completely useless offensively. In past years he'd at least be a beast on the offensive boards, finish at the rim, and take a midrange shot every once in awhile to keep the defense honest. Now, he doesn't even look at the hoop and the defense pays no attention to him. Him touching the ball on offense is just wasted seconds on the shot clock. The lane gets clogged when he's out there in the high post and Rose and Jimmy have to either drive into traffic or settle for outside shots. At least when Mirotic is out there he spaces the floor. So even when he's not making shots, hes helping the team by just being on the court. Which is part of the reason why his +\- is typically so good.
  13. Call me crazy, but I'm not counting the bulls out yet. The 2 games at home were coin flips. If you can squeak out game 6 at least you have a chance at an elimination game vs LeBron. Plus an extra day of rest for Rose and Gasol between games 6 and 7 can't hurt. Let's just take care of business at the UC and take our chances in Game 7.
  14. You'd stiill have to have an under 2 minute rule where it's automatic or something...just like the NFL. The easy solution is to force the teams to stay on the court during the review proces.
  15. They absolutely need to change the rules to eliminate this. This game is/was unwatchable.
  16. Why the [expletive] did we just use our final timeout?
  17. Overall, he's played pretty well today. Much better than recently. If we lose its cause we got nothing from Mirotic and next to nothing from Taj. Needed them to step up with Pau out.
