  1. It was not a straight sacrifice. He squared around late but it was a poor bunt back to the pitcher.
  2. They had 0 outs and struck out twice then grounded out. We had 1 out and grounded into a (nicely hit) double play.
  3. We haven't had a walk off win yet this year, have we? Seems like we had one about once a week last year.
  4. Damn. KB was in the on-deck circle for those not watching.
  5. Teams should probably bunt at Lester more.
  6. Fake account. Last name spelled wrong.
  7. Dropping the game versus Detroit last week really was the dagger. Sucks, because I really enjoy watching Bulls playoff basketball. What is Felicio? Is he a rotational player?
  8. Who ya got? Hard to fade Day right now. Might go with Rickie, though.
  9. I don't think you could predict 6/8 division winners today. I don't think what you're saying is correct either. I think baseball (non-cap sport you're comparing NFL, NBA, and NHL against) playoffs are just a crapshoot. Also can you imagine if the NBA didn't have a cap? LeBron would form an allstar team with all his buddies and win the league every year. Or maybe getting rid of Max salaries would limit him somewhat. The NFL is pretty predictable.... https://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2015/07/31/how-accurate-are-nfl-preseason-forecasts/dMGQZkmZf6YbiJYeBwGGbI/story.html Not sure you can make those predictions TODAY, but after the draft...in the preseason...yeah, you probably could. The article states the best predictions were off by 2 wins per team on average. 2 wins in a 16 game season on average is a lot. And says half the teams were within 1 win off. Well that's not hard to do when half your teams finish 7-9, 8-8, or 9-7. I'm not saying NFL is difficult to predict, or necessarily more difficult than other sports, but there's definitely parity created by having a cap.
  10. I bet you could accurately predict 6 of the 8 division winners today. I would also bet that if you made a list of 6 teams that could win the super bowl the winner would be on your list. I suggest this is true of most capped leagues. Which illustrates the point that the cap isn't leveling the playing field very much. The NFL is different since teams can get immediate help from the draft. So there's more hope for a team like Miami to make the playoffs but they're still unlikely to win the super bowl. 11. you know the "away" games are probably like 20 minutes away from the home games right? About 40 minutes to Peoria and almost an hour to Surprise, but yes.
  12. Going to spring training in 10 days. Unfortunately the Cubs are only home for one of the 3 days we are there. What's the day like on gamedays? Specifically when they're on the road. Do they work out at Sloan in the morning then bus over for the game? Do the players playing that day bus over while the rest of the team works out at Sloan?
  13. Do multiple windows help? I don't remember
  14. Who are the 17 players better than Rizzo and Bryant?
  15. Going to my first spring training this year. Only going to be there 3 days though, before heading to Vegas for March Madness. What is there to do there, other than attend the games?
  16. How is this not free money?
  17. I've never seen a team get so little production outside of their top 3 players. So pathetic.
  18. I would love to see this Derrick Rose with JB, Pau, Taj, and a healthy Dunleavy. Snell, McDermott, and E'Twan each have too many limitations to play 20+ minutes consistently.
