This may be a dumb question and I should know better, but if the home team goes into the bottom of the 5th with a lead, and the game is rained out, is it still considered a complete game even though the bottom of the 5th was never completed? I mean if the home team already has the lead, it shouldnt matter anyway.

if he magically becomes the All-Star Edmonds again, I'd love the guy. /gay joke the fact is, if Edmonds comes to town and does well, he will not be booed, and any Cubs fan who does boo him if he does well simply because he is Jim Edmonds is a moron.

Shouldnt only the 2nd 2 options be there? If Edmonds coems to town, and does good, I cant imagine too many Cubs fans booing him, no matter how much venemous hatred they had for him in the past. Do Yankee fans boo Johnny Damon when hes doing well?

Carlos Marmols more making a crazy manager look out of his soap dropping mind. Theres no question Marmols the best reliever alive, but pitching him in some of the situations Lou has is just downright ridiculous. -

Didn't we try to trade for him before the Roberts fiasco? I heard speculation, but, as always, Tampa wanted the moon and a few planets. I think the moon was Felix Pie and the planets were Rich Hill and Sean Marshall/Gallagher.

Even is the CUbs were interested, Jacque wouldnt be. He wasnt very happy with his Cubs experience and was glad to leave. Im surprised the Pads havnt grabbed him up. Could he be any worse than Gerut or whoever they hell they have patrolling center? Besides, Im sure hed love to stick it to the Wrigley fans.

Time to stop scoring guys. Save some runs for the guy whose going to need them tommorow. I know we're dealing with a lineup that makes the '06 Cubs look like the '27 Yankees, and a mediocre at best pitcher who hasnt pitched in the bigs in over a year, but this is also Jason Marquis we're talking about.
