He could very well make some mid season top 20-30 lists. Especially taking consideration the overall meh-ness that we've gotten from the majority of our pitching prospects. If he keeps this up, I'd be surprised if he wasn't on everyone's top 30 lists. I mean, heck, I think you can make a case for top 15 right now in our system. A long way to go until we need to think about mid-season lists, though. Whenever I see a fringe, or at least not particularly notable pitching prospect, I try to compare their stats with those of guys who ultimately became filler; In their 1st full season at AA: Casey Coleman(22): 3.5/5.1 BB/K 1.38 WHIP Chris Rusin(24?) 1.9/5.8, 1.298 Brooks Raley(23) 3.0/5.3 1.577 Kyle Hendricks (23) 1.9/7.3 1.065 Obviously, Hendricks has only had 9 starts, but at this point, it's more than SSS. My not so expert analysis is that we may have something here; at least something more than filler.
