    i'm glad i didn't see this game. 1-0 on an o.g. and go down 2-1 to an inferior side that was getting heckled by the home fans. i look at the second leg as a possible win-win, chelsea goes down, grant gets sacked. chelsea wins, and sets up an interesting semi-final.

    That sounds like a pretty fun system. Is there a similar system for teams in the Americas? yes, but its divided between south america and central/north america. its not nearly as good as uefa though.

    the only thing i'd add to this example is the pride and importance that comes from winning your league or in this example, the conference. the champions league is huge but the domestic titles are not to be understated.

    i'm looking for some better sites to get my footie fix each day. i'm looking for sites that cover the prem, euro, usmnt. for news i check soccernet, fox soccer (not for content, but to see which games are on the tele), and occasionally the telegraph or guardian. for blogs, i use 101great goals for video clips and whoateallthepies for the humor. where do you guys go?
