I've tuned out so much over the past few years it amazes me when people are even more tuned out than me. It's been mentioned repeatedly that they are playing in the unis of the two teams that played the first game, neither of which was the Cubs (or DBacks for that matter).
Speaking of how the Cubs convinced the public to come out for this birthday party, people knew lots of historically significant people would be there, and they like being around them.
I considered going for the jersey but upon further reflection realized it would probably be huge and any 30,000 other people would have the same jersey as me making me look like a tool whenever I'd wear it to a game
I can understand not being comfortable with taking part in the discussion. I find it odd that people actively take the side of, "bringing attention to it is creepy and cheapens the horrific thing so you people bringing attention to it are in the wrong."
