    He needs to step down. It's a [expletive] shame TMZ is more legit than ESPN when it comes to reporting this. The NFL and ESPN are going to do their best to sweep this under the rug quickly. And unfortunately, they'll probably succeed. Question for Gooney: I'd ask that question in the exact opposite way? Why WOULDN'T the casino give the NFL that tape? That's not the opposite way, but a completely different question. I'm not asking why they would or would not, but rather why they would be obligated to respond to a request from a completely unrelated private institution? That's a matter for the police. The police had and have the tapes and the NFL would have and should have gone through them if they wanted to see them. They probably didn't want to see them, or at least, they didn't want actual NFL officials seeing them. So they had some private security types take a look and report back and can now still say that NFL personnel did not see the tapes.

    I don't get why he was penalized. The punter goes down to make the tackle and - instead of going around - Brown opted to jump over him and wound kicking him in the face. Was it obviously intentional and I missed it? It was pretty obvious intent, not from the beginning, but once he went up there he took his shot.

    Stop pretending I'm defending either Penn State or this decision. All I've said is that I'm no surprised that the NCAA reversed course, not because I think it's the right decision, but because the NCAA can literally do nothing right. And because penn state keeps winning baby!

    LOL at 'became available today'. What a douchebag. What I don't get is why the hell did they need to see a video? Everyone knew he beat her up and dragged her unconscious body out of an elevator. The NFL saw the video and was like, "Oh we didn't know he hit her THAT hard". WTF does it matter? No to mention it's complete [expletive] that they didn't see it before now. The story they tried to go with was she attacked him and while he eventually hit her it was basically self defense. That's why they had her apologize and attend his news conference.
