It’s very common. The thought process is he won’t be a superstar in 2 years, so his next contract will be reasonable, and “buyout” some of his best years. -

For comparison, ground broke for metlife stadium in September 2007 and it opened in 2010. Sofi 2016-2020. US Bank 2013-2016 I think it’s fair to assume 4 years after ground breaks. And we’ll be lucky to break ground in 12 months -
