  1. he did the worst thing you can do and doesn't deserve a second chance ever. if you want to put him in the hall of fame because you care that he hung around forever and hit a bunch of crappy singles when he was 45, go for it, but he does not deserve a job with an mlb team ever again. and if he is reinstated there is no way the Reds would hesitate to hire him for $100,000/year to just hang out all year and let people kiss his ring.
  2. Chicken and waffle cone in Houston looks awful.
  3. wtf is that site? Just an anti-political correctness, macho thing? It started out as an Alpha Male take on celebrity gossip, but has devolved into occasionally funny but usually overly-obvious chest thumping machismo Is it run by Tucker Max?
  4. knowing the complete morons that insist on listening to sports talk radio despite their problems with it one can only assume the people who choose to call-in will be even dumber.
  5. You cannot trust a Marc.
  6. you gotta check out this restaurant i found, the chef makes a duck l'orange that smells and tastes EXACTLY like poop. In less exaggerated terms I was recently at a restaurant that is very proud of its chefs take on the McRib, which was admittedly quite good. But they also had their version of the Spicy Chicken and then at dessert their version of the Apple Pie and that was a bit over the top. Not sure why a successful chef is trying to emulate McDonald's that much.
  7. I thought thy was what New Orleans did for tiny brees
  8. good, make it easier to get into the stadium
  9. kid from colorado. can't think of his name. miss him dearly. skyballer?
  10. I think I have seen her and noticed the same. CSN tends to use a lot of really bad reporters.
  11. I think this makes it's pretty clear he's just talking out about McDonald to get the audience fired up and attack the Bears. I would not say commenting on boobs makes one incapable of criticizing the employment of a likely assaulter of women.
  12. What is he apologizing for? Criticizing her work, or acknowledging Bernstein's comments? He feels like he could have kept the conversation above board after Bernstein's reply...and didn't. Okay, that's understandable. Just curious if he was regretting a somewhat mean assessment of her work as well.

  14. you people need to read this [expletive] thing it's great do you finally feel like you have a friend in the media?
  15. I'm sure it will be "cool", and quite possibly "hip".

  18. Dan Pompei ‏@danpompei 7m7 minutes ago 3. Bears need good guys, solid men who are leaders & example setters more than they need veteran run stuffers. Michael C. Wright retweeted Dan Pompei ‏@danpompei 7m7 minutes ago 2. McDonald might have done nothing wrong and/or might have learned lessons, but there is a message sent by his signing. Michael C. Wright retweeted Dan Pompei ‏@danpompei 8m8 minutes ago 1. The Bears are not at the stage of team development where they needed to take the risk of signing Ray McDonald. well, at least more people are falling for the "process" concept that apparently requires the right time and place for signing bad guys.
  19. maybe they confused the state abbreviation with Minnesota's (Winfield's home) MN/ME.
  20. minnesota isn't that weird, but do they not sell Packer throwbacks?
  21. well, not sure that is a perfect parallel, since those are shows, and they always do a horrible job "fixing" those places. I have gone through home and office renovations and while they last for months it does usually look like [expletive] within a week or two of being able to move back in.
  22. Chris Kuc ‏@ChrisKuc 8s8 seconds ago #Blackhawks team doctor on the ice checking on Corey Crawford. Goalie leaving the ice.
