  1. I'm sure it will be "cool", and quite possibly "hip".
  2. http://img.bleacherreport.net/img/slides/photos/002/737/579/Joe_crop_north.jpg?w=619&h=412&q=75
  3. CHEER FOR NAME ON FRONT OF JERSEY BRO!
  4. Dan Pompei ‏@danpompei 7m7 minutes ago 3. Bears need good guys, solid men who are leaders & example setters more than they need veteran run stuffers. Michael C. Wright retweeted Dan Pompei ‏@danpompei 7m7 minutes ago 2. McDonald might have done nothing wrong and/or might have learned lessons, but there is a message sent by his signing. Michael C. Wright retweeted Dan Pompei ‏@danpompei 8m8 minutes ago 1. The Bears are not at the stage of team development where they needed to take the risk of signing Ray McDonald. well, at least more people are falling for the "process" concept that apparently requires the right time and place for signing bad guys.
  5. maybe they confused the state abbreviation with Minnesota's (Winfield's home) MN/ME.
  6. minnesota isn't that weird, but do they not sell Packer throwbacks?
  7. well, not sure that is a perfect parallel, since those are shows, and they always do a horrible job "fixing" those places. I have gone through home and office renovations and while they last for months it does usually look like [expletive] within a week or two of being able to move back in.
  8. Chris Kuc ‏@ChrisKuc 8s8 seconds ago #Blackhawks team doctor on the ice checking on Corey Crawford. Goalie leaving the ice.
  9. For clarification: Brad Biggs ‏@BradBiggs 2m2 minutes ago When I said Shea will start that means that will be the first place he is lined up at when #Bears get on field -- inside vs outside
  10. Please don't use that word. It has already been wrongly adopted by too many baseball people, it does not also need to infiltrate football. I think they mean start the offseason program with him working there, not to have him start as inside linebacker.
  11. Brad Biggs ‏@BradBiggs 3m3 minutes ago John Fox says #Bears will start Shea McClellin at inside LB but he will be worked outside as well. Were we aware of this concept before? Shea as an inside LB? I knew he was a bad OLB but not quite sure how that translates to trying him inside.
  12. This team should not be in the business of giving away talent to convince other teams to take on their contracts. That is what poor people need to do.
  13. You don't dive at a pylon though, you only dive to avoid being tackled/stepping out of bounds, before your arm crosses over an imaginary line Yes, you do dive at a pylon, because touching the pylon is a touchdown, and that exact point is often the best route to take toward the endzone because of the angle the potential tacklers are taking to try and tackle you, since standing on the sideline would be a waste of space. What are you talking about? The line isn't imaginary, and neither is the pylon. You don't know football.
  14. I wouldn't describe that as ripping. He's trying to be witty and I doubt the Cubs are going to cut off information because he compares the number of homeruns this March to the number of games he will play in AAA.
  15. Mark Gonzales ‏@MDGonzales 2m2 minutes ago Phoenix, AZ That's it for Jackson after seventh consecutive hit allowed.
  16. Kyle Long defending the new guy on twitter. gotta love twitter dopes talking about those who are "quick to judge" and "live in glass houses" as if assaulting woman is something we all do.
  17. arrested, but charges eventually dropped, I believe is the sequence.
  18. In football terms only, he's a great signing. So he apparently hasn't even been arrested on either accusation. What's the story? He was arrested
  19. I'm not so sure. I am sure he would be today. Maybe one day Jeffery will be better but he is not yet.
  20. I think that is crazy talk. It was largely about the side issues and helped to justify by the fact that he's not as good as he once was. But he would still be the Bears best receiver.
  21. get rid of one distraction to add another.
  22. That doesn't seem appreciably different to me. well then you are not very appreciative
