I was just saying most of this stuff was garbage food, doritos/spaghettios/beefaroni that you would expect a stupid kid to over indulge on and get sick. If you don't eat them the rest of your life, you aren't missing out. But not being able to enjoy scallops would suck.

No comment is for team officials. Toews is talking about the players interacting with each other. I can see where you are coming from and do not think it was a great statement, but I don't see the foot in mouth quote there. All the talk radio people on twitter are aghast. It wasn't elegant at all, but I think it's easy enough to understand what Toews was trying to say, even if he didn't quite nail it. He's never given a hint of being a well spoken guy. But he's the only remaining face of the franchise with teeth in his mouth and is going to be facing a lot of cameras the next few weeks.
