Out of the rumored story there are no rumored stories? Is 'there has been one rumored story in the 8 years he's been on the Hawks' better for you? Look at the evidence of what happened that weekend and believe whatever you want to believe. But arguing like this was something that probably happened before, or was going to happen at some point no matter what seems a bit too far. Nobody is talking about whether it happened before and was destined to happen. The question is did this happen and right now hoping it did not happen does not look good.

No. I will get ruffled about such insinuations because that is part of the problem with rape culture.

no, not that simple to recognize. within the opinions themselves is rooted a clear bias, here, an absolute assumption born of disgust, that he raped that girl. When somebody accuses another person of rape the fact is it usually has merit. So my bias is to believe a rape victim is telling the truth. Not sure why you take such offense to that stance.

I feel like people in Chicago do this with names a lot, and I base this entirely on my mom and the occasional sports talk radio call-in nonsense I've heard. It happens with stores too. "We're going to Nordstroms" Yes, every one of my aunts has said that at one point or another. I feel like that's more excusable because so many store names are possessive like that. First, adding an s at the end is not possessive. Second, it is not excusable for adults to screw that up and make children grow up thinking stuff is named differently than it is!

He also lost a lot of those endorsements before gaining them back. It's over a decade later. Maybe by a handful of horrible people, but they will be the exception. I also don't know what format you are talking about for a standing ovation. They will do whatever they can to not introduce guys by name, or have him on the first shift during the anthem. His portion of highlights in any video will be much less prominent. They will hide him. There will not be an opportunity for idiots to give him a standing O.
